The 2-in-1 puzzle is a nice
interlocking burr made out of twelve rods. The puzzle is not hard to make by
yourself, but the solution is not as simple as it looks. A tip: some pieces has to be
put into the puzzle as an pair.
The pieces shown in the diagram below
has to be drawn on a square stick. Some pieces has to be duplicated several
times. In total you make twelve pieces of 2 x 2 x 9 units.
As said before, it is difficult to
find the solution. For those who has less perseverance or just want to see of
their pieces are correct sawn, can look at the solution which is shown on the
next page.
