At
first sight you should say this puzzle belongs to the group op 3D-put together
puzzles and not to the group of interlocking puzzles. But the eight pieces
forming this cube are constructed in such a way the cube becomes a very
stable and solid structure that cannot fall apart easily.
The puzzle can be
made by using 64 wooden cubes. Glue the cubes together according to the diagram
below. Every piece is made by eight cubes. The puzzle gets a nice appearance if
you use eight different types of wood as you can see in the picture above.
The solution of
this puzzle is difficult to find. The pieces have to be put together in a
specific order. If you study the picture above you can find out the position of
