The
name of this puzzle is derived from the shape of the pieces. The puzzle is
made out of six identical pieces, every piece in the shape of an 'L'. The
puzzle is not difficult to make, but finding the solution is however not easy.
If
you want to make this puzzle, you need a wooden stick with a square diameter
of at least 4 x 4 cm. The length of the pieces is twice its width. In the
diagram below you can see how the pieces has to be sawn. It is fun to make
the pieces from different kinds of wood, so you can clearly see the 'L' in
the pieces.
