The figures below show how to assemble the puzzle and how to saw the puzzle out of a square stick. Saw over the purple and yellow lines.

   

If you make the puzzle according to the right diagram, paint the pieces in a bright color so you can't see the wood grain. Than the solution of this puzzle is much more difficult to find.

Nob's ingenious two pieces puzzle

To make the puzzle by yourself you need two wooden blocks of 2 x 2 x 3 units and four cubes of 2 x 2 x 2 units. If you make this puzzle make the pieces in such a way the pieces fit very thigh, so the puzzle won't fall apart spontaneously. As an aid you can stick felt on the inside of the pieces.
